Design Lead, International Innovation
Paulina is the Design Lead for the Global Innovation Policy Accelerator, a 14 country collaborative development programme for senior innovation policymakers.
She oversees the full spectrum of design and delivery of the learning activities for the Accelerator, including programme design, developing learning materials for public sector innovation, and the look and feel of the Programme. Her current work includes a report commissioned by the Laboratorio de Gobierno in Chile which reviews the outcomes of Experimenta, a practice-based capacity building programme to enable innovation in Chile's public sector.
Prior to Nesta Paulina worked as a freelance graphic designer in the UK. She is originally from Mexico City where she started the design-led social enterprise 'Pirueta' which focused on enabling collaborations with Mexican artisans for co-designing new products with traditional handcrafted techniques.
Paulina holds an MA in Social Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Industrial Design from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico.
She is passionately interested in the relationship between design and social innovation.
