Head of Nesta Scotland
Adam has been appointed to lead Nesta's work in Scotland with the ambition of building on our current activity to grow our work, income, profile and impact across our priority areas
Adam joins Nesta after five successful years as the Head of Communications and Policy for Shelter Scotland, where he was part of both the charity's UK senior leadership team and the Scottish directorate leadership team.
Prior to this Adam has spent 15 years working in a range of communications, policy and public affairs roles in Scotland across the public, private and third sectors. Adam is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organizations (SCVO) and also sits on the Governance Committee for the Association for Scottish Public Affairs (ASPA).
Adam has three young children and spends most of his free time trying to stop them from killing each other. When he gets the chance, he enjoys cooking, reading, the cinema and single malt Islay whisky.
