Robert is an Assistant Programme Manager for People Powered Results in Nesta's Health Lab.

People Powered Results is a partnership approach to complex service transformation in health and care settings, working with leaders to empower front-line health and care practitioners to achieve meaningful change in 100 days.

Robert’s background is in policy and community engagement. Prior to Nesta, he worked as both a policy officer, and a community engagement officer at Community Southwark, an organisation whose remit involves supporting the wider voluntary and community sector in Southwark.

He has a keen interest in social policy and, in his time at Community Southwark, coordinated the UK’s first Universal Credit network for voluntary and community sector organisations. Other areas of work included food poverty, increasing civic participation, and exploring the impact of regeneration on local communities.

Robert has an MA in Multimedia Journalism from Sussex University and a BA in English Literature. He is also a qualified journalist.

In his spare time he enjoys being a Manchester United supporter, and (occasionally) sampling South London’s pub culture.
