Schools and Colleges Engagement Officer
Huma is a Schools and Colleges Engagement Officer in the Education team.
Prior to Nesta, Huma worked as a teacher in several inner London schools. She has a passion for education and ensuring that all children have the opportunity to unlock their potential. She has a particular interest in behaviour management, and the social barriers to learning.
Global in her outlook, Huma graduated with a BA in International Relations from Queen Mary, University of London. She spent some time working in America with children before pursuing a PGCE.
In her spare time Huma can be found recreating recipes from her travels, exploring the city with her friends and practicing in her new role as an aunt to her nephew.
