Jullie worked with a number of health and ageing projects funded through the Accelerating Ideas programme, focusing on social innovations that make it possible for people to be more involved in their health. She has a particular interest in knowledge, learning and impact management - encouraging projects to understand all the information and practices they may need to support their improvement and growth. Jullie joined Nesta in February 2015 and has worked on a number of major people powered health programmes. Previous work includes the Centre for Social Action Innovation Fund and Helping in Hospitals.
Prior to joining Nesta, Jullie worked as a management consultant for McCann Health and Accenture (Accenture Development Partnerships) where she focused on healthcare, international development and nonprofit management.
Throughout her career, she has worked with clients to improve the way health services, health data and medicines are accessed by patients and healthcare professionals. Jullie has worked collaboratively with a number of ministries of health, the World Health Organization, the European Institute for Health, and the International Telecommunications Union (the United Nations specialised agency for information and communication technologies).
Jullie holds a BASc (Engineering) from the University of Toronto and a MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
