Senior Programme Manager
Jonathan joined the Health Lab to work on our People Powered Results programme on a two year secondment from the Health Foundation. He led a range of research and evaluations into health care innovation and improvement, particularly in patient safety and person-centred care.
His work over the last few years has focused on understanding what makes improvement approaches successful (or not!). He also developed the Health Foundation's monthly Research Scan and their rapid evidence review service.
Previously, Jonathan led the research team at the Commission for Racial Equality, has spent time living in Brazil, and has degrees in psychology and global politics.
A father of three, Jonathan and his wife are both Capoeira instructors and run their own capoeira school 'Bambinhos - capoeira for kids'.
