Senior Programme Manager
Kate is a Senior Programme Manager in the Health Lab. Her main focus is working within the People Powered Results programme, supporting frontline health and social care teams to test out new methods to achieve change.
Prior to Nesta, Kate was an Operations Manager at a housing association, working on a randomised control trial focused on testing the impact of a wide range of different interventions on the health and well-being of tenants aged 50 and over.
Previously, she also worked within a number of care and support services, providing support to a range of different client groups, including older people, people with mental health issues and those with complex needs. In these services, Kate held a variety of roles, including frontline team member, team manager and social inclusion officer.
Kate also has a post graduate diploma in mental health practice from the Middlesex University. This was a practice and university based course, during which Kate spent a year working for an inner London mental health trust within both acute and community settings.
Kate is a Film and English graduate from the University of East Anglia. Outside of work, she has a passion for film, travel and visiting the Kentish seaside!
