Data Developer
James worked on the Arloesiadur project, developing an innovation analytics platform for Welsh Government.
Before joining Nesta James worked for the Local Government Data Unit ~ Wales as a Senior Statistical Research Consultant. There he led on multiple projects, including oversight of the organisation’s data management functions, development of front and back end geospatial data solutions as well as overseeing a number of local and national information systems. Prior to that he worked for local government in Wales as a Graduate Officer, working in areas including social care and partnerships.
James has a 1st Class honours degree in Geography and an MSc by Research in Glaciology, both from Swansea University. Outside of work he enjoys making the most of South Wales’ natural beauty by climbing, hillwalking and camping.
