Nesta Trust exists to support Nesta (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) in the achievement of its charitable objects.

Originally funded from a National Lottery endowment, Nesta Trust was established on 1st April 2012 when Nesta became an independent charity. The legal documents governing the Trust are its Articles of Association and the Trust Deed and these are available on request.

The Trust is guided by various Investment Principles but its primary objective is to fund Nesta’s activities. It does so by investing sustainably, aiming to generate a return that meets Nesta’s spending requirements. The asset allocation strategy is the key mechanism to achieving this goal.
