Programme Manager, Social Health
Damian will be working with colleagues in Y Lab and the Creative Economy team to develop a new Arts in Health programme in Wales.
He will also be working on Good Help and Nesta's new social movements programme.
Prior to Nesta, Damian combined two roles as Head of Arts at Cambridge University Hospitals and Director of the London Arts in Health Forum. He has worked in arts and social engagement for 20 years and has a keen interest in the potential of sport, culture and volunteering to influence health and wellbeing. He was a 2016/17 Clore Leadership Fellow and is a trustee of Magic Me Arts and Akademi a South Asian dance company.
He has a degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University
