Felix researches new visions for a better internet which is more inclusive, diverse and sustainable for the Next Generation Internet project.
He sits with the Explorations team at Nesta, which explores emerging technologies and groundbreaking ideas to tackle the challenges we will face in the future. NGI is a European initiative for creating an internet that respects human and societal values, privacy, participation and diversity, and offers new functionalities to support people’s real needs and address global sustainability challenges.
Felix initially worked in the Readie team, a policy centre helping to connect European policymakers and promote better digital policy and innovation. His work focused on researching and communicating the impact of the internet on European politics and the economies, including the Digital Pulse report series on attitudes towards digitalisation across Europe.
Prior to joining Nesta, Felix worked in commercial primary research, supporting investment and consultancy decisions. He has previously completed research projects with ComRes, the polling expert, and Ceartas, a small human rights charity. He holds degrees in PPE and Political Theory from Lancaster and LSE respectively.
