Chun-Yin is a Researcher for the Explorations team.

His focus is on helping to deliver the Participatory Futures project, which explores how we can democratise the future by supporting governments and public sector organisations to better engage citizens in their long-term strategic work.

Prior to joining Nesta's Explorations team as a summer intern in August 2017, Chun-Yin was a graduate from Imperial College London holding a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science, Global Health and the Medical Humanities. He has also worked in higher education policy as a student representative on the UK Teaching Excellence Framework Panel, as a tutor for skills development programmes, and in research communications with Sense about Science.

He recently completed his MSc in Science Communication, specialising in Science, Technology & Society Studies.

Chun-Yin is driven by a passion to better the future through empowering citizen voice and citizens' sense of efficacy to make change. He regularly volunteers for social action causes, with a particular interest in supporting citizens' involvement in scientific research.

When he is not working, Chun-Yin can often be spotted in a museum, reading books from the international sci-fi scene, and exploring cities and their food markets.
