Nicola is a consultant for the anticipatory regulation project with the SRA, which will be exploring the role that emerging technology can play in improving access to justice.

Nicola is an On Purpose associate and will be working with Nesta for six months. On Purpose is a one-year leadership development programme for professionals facilitating transition into careers within purpose driven organisations. As part of the On Purpose programme Nicola previously spent six months with community interest company Mental Health First Aid England, developing strategy and working on organisational development for the Commercial team at MHFA.

Prior to On Purpose, Nicola spent nine years in personal lines general insurance consulting at Willis Towers Watson. Her work there encompassed both technical and strategic consulting projects, leading projects to develop new pricing techniques, completing reviews of insurers' pricing capability and developing pricing road maps.

Nicola hopes to contribute to efforts to develop a more sustainable and inclusive economy, and is excited about the potential for businesses to contribute to solving human challenges through focusing on their social and environmental impact in addition to financial performance.

Outside of work Nicola loves to travel and took a year-long career break in 2013 to travel in Asia and Central America. She also likes hiking, trying different types of gin, attempting to keep fit, meditation and scuba diving.
