Intern, Creative Economy
Athina was a Creative Economy Intern in the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts team.
Her main project was researching international case studies of arts organisations using technology in new and impactful ways to inspire the wider arts sector.
Before joining Nesta, her work in innovation consulting was focused on identifying growth opportunities for companies within the media, telco and education industries. Prior to that she worked in digital marketing and brand management positions for global beauty and fitness brands.
Athina has a master’s degree in Creative and Media Enterprises from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Marketing and Communications. She is interested in the ways that innovation in the creative industries can drive development on a social, economic and personal level.
