What I do

Svetlana is Assistant Programme Manager for Arts Impact Fund, part of Nesta's Innovation Lab. She supports the due diligence and portfolio management of the fund with a keen interest in social and artistic impact measurement.

Before joining Nesta, Svetlana completed an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from King's College London, where her research explored how arts organisations can become more resilient by engaging with their staff, partners, audiences and communities. Her background is in theatre and performance art and she has worked on many creative projects over the years, both in the UK and abroad.

In our first Insights blog we shared with you facts and figures from our second year of running the Arts Impact Fund. Here, we address the extent to which arts and cultural organisations have become more familiar with repayable finance and understand the requirements and processes involved in taking on investment. We also point out some commonly encountered hurdles along the way.
