Programme Manager
Meera was a Programme Manager in the Innovation Lab working in the Centre for Social Action to support social innovations to scale their reach and grow their impact. She led Cities of Service UK, working with city councils to develop impact volunteering solutions to address strategic city challenges based on the US model originating in New York City by Mayor Bloomberg.
Meera started her career as a performance improvement consultant at Ernst & Young, where she managed major transformation programmes for public sector, commercial and non-profit clients in the UK and South Africa. Her research and reports have been published in industry journals and she has delivered consulting skills workshops globally.
In recent years, Meera worked with London Early Years Foundation and The Social Investment Consultancy as part of the social enterprise leadership programme, On Purpose. She has led a major national campaign for social mobility charity Future First, is a trustee for READ International, a mentor with Teach First and was part of the Victory Ceremonies team for the London 2012 Games.

BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
