What I do

Annette works in the Health Lab supporting the development and delivery of innovation programmes including and Helping in Hospitals and Mobilising Communities. In the past she worked on Rethinking Parks programme. Her role includes programme managment, organising and running workshops events, managing processes and making sure that programmes are well organised and delivered.

Before joining Nesta  Annette organised and supported the delivery of educational programmes for the Holocaust Educational Trust. Prior to that she spent six years at BUNAC (Working Adventures Worldwide) designing, implementing and managing a variety of international volunteer programmes.

She holds a Geography Degree from Staffordshire University and focused her dissertation on ‘Sustainable Tourism’.

Annette is a keen traveller and always planning her next adventure. Between trips she keeps busy with Zumba classes, playing badminton and volunteering with South London Cares

Last week saw another mass engagement of young people all wanting to give something back to society during Student Volunteering Week. This is a great example that demonstrates the role young people can play, right at the heart of successful new volunteering initiatives.
