What I do

Jon led the inter-disciplinary team that designs, commissions and delivers multi-million pound innovation programmes that help the creative and digital economy.

Jon previously worked at the BBC in the Future Media & Technology division where his role was to improve the organisation’s engagement with external creative suppliers.

Before this, Jon held a number of senior content and technology commissioning roles at both the BBC and Channel 4. He's been a content producer, tech developer and commissioner - usually where traditonal content meets the internet.

We first met when I agreed to be a "buddy" for a cohort of interns to Nesta. I walked this group of able, enthusiastic people around the teams here and asked them to introduce themselves. It was fun listening to them explain who they were and why they were here and how the story sometimes changed according to the responses of the people they were meeting.
