Codrina is a senior mission manager in Nesta's sustainable future team.

Codrina is working with homeowners, housing providers and industry experts to accelerate the transition to low-carbon heating. She leads Nesta's work looking into ensuring home decarbonisation is inclusive, leaves no one behind and is an effective tool in tackling fuel poverty.

Most recently, Codrina has led Nesta's work with Bristol City Council to optimise heat pump performance in social housing. By combining technical audits with resident interviews, the project aimed to identify what makes installations succeed or fail. This work is generating practical insights for landlords, installers, and policymakers, helping to ensure that low-carbon heating delivers on its promises for everyone.
