Analyst, fairer start mission
Magdalena is an analyst working in Nesta’s fairer start mission.
Before joining Nesta, Magdalena worked in Chile across a range of roles in the education sector, from early years settings to vocational training. She spent six years working in local authority, first advising early years teams on high-quality adult-child interactions and later managing a network of 10 nurseries serving more than 1,100 children. Throughout her career, she has supported practitioners and local leaders to translate evidence into practice, helping strengthen support systems for children living in disadvantage.
Magdalena is an educational psychologist who recently completed a master's in public policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. There, she developed a multidisciplinary approach to addressing complex social challenges, combining hands-on practitioner experience with technical policy expertise.
Outside of work, Magdalena enjoys trying new vegetarian recipes, practicing yoga, curating a collection of children’s books and taking pictures of flowers in bloom.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
