Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.
Interim policy advisor
Megan works as a policy advisor in the policy team, with a focus on the fairer start mission.
She joined Nesta from Lambeth Council, where she supported the development of local government policies to address the social challenges facing communities, with a particular focus on poverty, ageing and serious violence.
Prior to this, she held roles in anti-human trafficking policy and advocacy within US state government and national charities, while also supporting victims and survivors of violence through her local hotline and hospital. Megan holds an MPhil in public policy and a BA in international affairs and Spanish.
Outside of work, Megan sits on the Young Professionals Advisory Board of the WONDER Foundation, which works to expand women and girls’ access to education. She enjoys yoga and hiking and is an enthusiastic reader, always on the lookout for new book recommendations despite being perpetually behind on her reading list.
