Analyst, sustainable future mission
Disha is an analyst in Nesta’s sustainable future mission, where she works to accelerate heat pump adoption.
Her focus is twofold: making low-carbon heating financially accessible for households and lowering the barriers for engineers moving into the green heating sector.
She holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, specialising in Urban Sustainable Environments. Before joining Nesta, she was at the Grantham Institute in their education team working on embedding sustainability education across Imperial. Disha also leads a climate literacy and green skills projects for local schools. In her spare time, she is a zine-maker and an avid baker.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
