Rhys is a Programme Manager working on Nesta's Sustainable Communities challenge prizes, with a particular focus on the future of work.
Prior to Nesta, Rhys worked in the Queensland Government's Innovation in Government team, where he oversaw the delivery of programs which connected startups, SMEs and researchers with complex government challenges.
He has a Bachelor of Business Management and Commerce, majoring in marketing and accounting, from the University of Queensland, Australia and also serves on the Board of a youth not-for-profit which provides opportunities for young people to create social change in their communities, with a focus on projects which support access to education.
In his free time, Rhys enjoys reading, cooking and photography.
