About Nesta

Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.

Helen is an assistant programme manager at Challenge works currently working as part of the Longitude Prize on ALS and Manchester II teams.

She recently completed the On Purpose Associate’s programme. Helen completed two placements as part of the programme: the first was with Challenge Works, where she contributed to the delivery of the assessment, judging, and winners event for the Aqualunar Challenge. Her second placement was at the Ed Sheeran Foundation, focusing on establishing systems and processes during the foundation's setup phase.

Before Challenge Works and On Purpose, Helen spent almost a decade working in supply chain management in the consumer goods industry. She spent six years living in Zürich, Switzerland working for a global luxury beauty manufacturer, most recently as a materials planning lead managing the European secondary and tertiary packaging suppliers.

Outside of work, Helen can be found looking after her collection of houseplants, reading books about Psychology, learning Italian and exploring her new home city of London.
