Creative technologist, Innovation Growth Lab
Kevin is a creative technologist working on ways to bring technology and social good together through rapid prototyping and proof of concept.
Before joining Nesta, Kevin prototyped and built a tool using data modelling to scale conservation efforts in Africa at Imperial College’s Centre for Environmental Policy. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at UAL’s Creative Computing Institute and the Royal College of Art, and worked as a software engineer at Meta (then Facebook). He has also been involved in launching several mobile apps, worked in film and exhibited interactive work across East Asia, the US, Europe and West Asia.
Kevin holds an MA/MSc in global innovation design from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London and a BA in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
