About Nesta

Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.

Max is an assistant programme manager at Challenge Works, working on the Smart Data Challenge Prize and Longitude Prize on Dementia.

Before joining Challenge Works, he worked for a number of independent marketing agencies. As an account manager, he oversaw the production of a range of creative campaigns and events, for brands such as adidas and Samsung.

Max has always had a deep interest in global affairs and the potential for social and economic change, which led him to study International Relations at university. He is inspired by the work that Challenge Works undertakes because it supports groups who use creative thinking to tackle real world problems.

Outside of work you will likely find Max in the kitchen, exploring the UK by bike or foot, or plotting a new creative side project.
