Policy Advisor
Tess is a policy advisor working in the central policy team and healthy life mission team, with a focus on health policy.
Prior to Nesta, Tess worked for the UK Civil Service, leading policy programmes in public health, adult social care, farm animal health and welfare, and environmental sustainability. Her experience includes developing interventions to improve Covid-19 and flu vaccines uptake at the Department for Health and Social Care and leading multi-million pound grant programmes at the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Tess has also worked at Cancer Research UK. Tess has an MSc in Public Policy and Management with Distinction and a first class BA in Philosophy and Politics. Outside of work, she enjoys art, books and nature.
