Lee is a Nesta Cymru policy fellow.

He is a former minister in the Welsh Government and a member of the Senedd. He led the introduction of Wales’ default 20mph speed limit and a series of reforms in climate, transport and digital policy. Before politics, Lee was director of the think-tank the Institute of Welsh Affairs, after having been director of Sustrans Cymru, where he led the campaign for the world's first Active Travel Act. He is a former chief political correspondent and House of Commons lobby correspondent for ITV Wales.
