Sara leads Nesta’s digital content strategy, developing and delivering content across the organisation’s range of digital platforms.
She heads up a team responsible for content creation, social media, website management and digital marketing.
During her time at Nesta she has launched a range of digital products and developed new content formats including Nesta’s own website and the annual predictions series.
Prior to joining Nesta, Sara spent five years as a journalist, author and commissioning editor in the small business sector. She was editor of business advice site Startups.co.uk where she interviewed leading UK entrepreneurs and business leaders.
She has also edited, and contributed to, several books on entrepreneur stories and start-up advice including her own book, Starting Your Own Restaurant, which was published in 2008. The book offers aspiring restaurant owners step-by-step guidance on how to launch their own eatery and reveals the start-up stories of some the UK’s most successful chefs and restaurateurs.
