As Director of Communications, Carla leads team operations and Nesta's convening and storytelling work, spanning live events, publications, video, and design.
Before joining Nesta in 2019, Carla worked in the commercial events sector as Head of Event Strategy, Operations and Client Services at Haymarket Media Group, where she was responsible for the delivery of over 100 live and digital events a year across titles including Campaign, PRWeek and Third Sector.
Outside of work, Carla loves Japanese food, learning British Sign Language, her twin daughters and her two huge Maine cats. Although not necessarily in that order.
