Louis is a Senior Researcher in Nesta's Explorations team, conducting research into the future of the Internet for NGI Forward.

Louis joined Nesta from the British Science Association, where he pushed for policies to make science and technology more diverse and inclusive. He set up the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Diversity and Inclusion in STEM, and explored the relationships that people from diverse backgrounds have with science and technology. He has also conducted research into job automation, fracking and the views of young people on the climate crisis.

He loathes writing about himself in the third person, and when not at work, he can be found taste-testing vegan cheeses, visiting a nuclear power station or walking a section of the London LOOP.
