Will works in the Discovery Hub as discovery research and analysis lead.

He helps shape the Discovery Hub’s research agenda around emerging trends and technologies and oversees the delivery of a suite of horizon-scanning products.

Prior to Nesta, Will worked for IMPACT Initiatives, a Geneva-based humanitarian research non-governmental organisation (NGO). At IMPACT, Will launched the organisation's public health programme stream and worked on various research and development initiatives aimed at providing more rigorous, standardised and transparent data analysis systems in crisis settings.

Before moving to Geneva, Will worked in research and analysis roles in several of IMPACT's field missions, including Iraq, Jordan, and Syria, and also worked as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for Fight For Peace, a London-based international NGO that works with young people to realise their potential and supports them to prevent violence in their communities. Will holds an MSc in Research for International Development from SOAS and a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter.

In his spare time, Will enjoys travelling, hiking, listening to an inordinate number of current affairs podcasts, trying and failing to follow most sports and has recently started participating in triathlons and other endurance events.
