Analyst, healthy life mission
Jurin is an analyst within Nesta’s healthy life mission, where she enjoys applying her background in biology and economics to improve health outcomes.
Her career spans consulting, policy, and research, supported by an MPhil from the University of Oxford and a BSc from the University of St Andrews.
Jurin’s research interests focus on evaluating health policies and incentives. As a research scholar at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, she conducted applied microeconomic research on Peru's government-funded health insurance, investigating how shifts in provider payment models influenced the care received by the nation's most vulnerable residents.
Beyond health, her experience includes policy analysis and economic consulting within the education and energy sectors. She previously worked within the policy analysis team at Universities UK and the energy team at NERA Economic Consulting.
Outside of work, Jurin enjoys hosting events that bring together friends from different circles, from dinner parties to park scavenger hunts. She also enjoys helping friends find the right engagement ring, making good use of her DGA diamond diploma from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
