About Nesta

Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.

Ibrahim works as head of special projects in the deputy CEO’s office.

Ibrahim supports Nesta’s work across mission control, finance and the venture studio, helping to deliver the organisation’s strategic priorities.

Before joining Nesta, Ibrahim was part of the special projects team at Blenheim Chalcot, one of the UK’s leading digital venture builders. There, he worked across strategy, go-to-market delivery and venture development initiatives.

Prior to this, he worked in local government as a portfolio adviser in the Mayor of Newham’s Private Office, supporting cross-London growth and innovation programmes. Earlier in his career, Ibrahim was a management consultant, leading strategy and delivery projects across government, media and technology organisations.

Ibrahim studied Political Science at Duke University, where he was actively involved in initiatives focused on social mobility, community service and human rights.

Outside of work, he enjoys racket sports, particularly tennis and padel, and can often be found exploring London’s newest cafés and sweet treats.
