Head of applied research methods, healthy life mission
Cailin is head of applied research and methods for the healthy life mission.
Prior to joining Nesta, Cailin worked extensively across central government in roles spanning data science, insights and strategy. This included leading the energy, environment and net zero data science brief in No 10, as well as roles in Nista HMT and the Department for Education.
Cailin holds postgraduate qualifications in mathematics and systems thinking. Outside of work she is a school governor, and enjoys spending time going on walks and seeing gigs with friends and family.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
