Charlotte Smith

Mission Studio Associate, Strategy

She/Her

Charlotte supports the delivery of Mission Studio.

Charlotte joins Nesta as part of the On Purpose Associate Programme, a year-long leadership programme which aims to develop people to play a part in transforming our economy from profit to purpose.

She has over four years of experience in operations leadership in a rapidly growing insurtech start-up, where she helped to build and lead new teams, strategies and initiatives. Most recently she set up and managed the quality assurance function and was responsible for creating the processes and strategies to measure customer service quality and to drive improvements.

Before this, Charlotte held various roles in education, market research and communications across different organisations including a charity, a start-up and a UK university. She holds a degree in French & Italian from the University of Bristol.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new places and activities and absorbing as much Italian culture, language and food as possible.
