Kenny Ewan

Director of Mission Studio, Strategy Unit

Kenny is the Director of Nesta Mission Studio, where he and the team conceptualise, build, and spin-out startups that can create significant global impact as well as financial return.

Kenny was previously the Founder and CEO of Wefarm, where he led the company from the idea stage to becoming the world’s largest farming network with over 5 million users. He grew the company to 150 staff across offices in Africa and Europe, securing more than $35m in investment from leading investors in Europe and Silicon Valley.

Prior to Wefarm, Kenny was based in Peru where he spent 8 years leading an INGO and specialised in building fish-farms and water systems in indigenous communities across South and Central America.
