In this future, people are data weary. Everyone used to talk about how a shared health data system needed to be transparent, responsive and empowering. But it led to a nation of people so conscious of how, where and when they generate data, that they have come to a stand-still.

People are worried that their data will be used to link their lifestyle and their health. They are worried about being tracked and stop themselves from becoming active citizen.

Wearable

MediBloc is a new product on the market that blocks and filters personal data. Use the hand-held device to adjust the settings on either the BLOC or the FILTER. The MediBloc is a way to become active again in society without worrying where you are leaking data to. Parts of the MediBloc include:

1. The MediHex is the basic data collector that you are required to wear (taken from the second of our six health data futures)
2. The MediHex BLOC can be placed over your MediHex whenever you want to close down any streams of data or data leakage
3. The MediHex FILTER can be set to only allow certain streams of data through
4. The MediBloc device enables you to adjust filtering and blocking settings.
