Supporting children and young people to succeed
The Centre for Social Action Innovation Fund supported projects helping children and young people up to 25 years old succeed and find employment, for example through mentoring, tutoring, coaching, and peer-to-peer networks.
Evaluations of these innovations will be published from July 2016 onwards.
Action Tutoring - an evalation that uncovered the impact of their small-group tutition programme on GCSE grades.
Team Up - an impact evaluation of Team Up, which traines university students to tutor children from low-income backgrounds.
The Access Project - an evaluation to assess the effectiveness of The Access Project's tutoring programme at raising pupil GCSE grades.
TLG - an evaluation of their early intervention programme for primary school children.
