The Centre for Social Action Innovation Fund supported these innovations to improve people’s health and well-being by mobilising volunteers, peers and communities to work alongside professionals in formal settings like hospitals and support people in less formal settings like the home and community centres.

Evaluations of these innovations will be published from August 2016 onwards.

British Red Cross: an evaluation of First Call, which supports vulnerable people to help them recover from a crisis, increase confidence and remain independent at home for longer.

ukactive: an evaluation of Let's Get Moving, uk active's physical activity programme.

British Lung Foundation: an evaluation of the Breathe Easy network of local support groups.

Stroke Association: an evaluation of Stroke Association Voluntary Groups, a volunteer-led peer support model.

Carers UK: an evaluation of the Carers UK volunteering programme.

MySupportBroker: evaluating the impact of how peer support brokerage impacts the health and wellbeing of MySupportBroker customers.
