The future of energy retail - 30 Apr 2024 09:30 – 11:00

The UK’s current energy retail model has been around for 30 years and is based on the supplier hub model, where suppliers act as the single link between customers and the wholesale energy market.

We will debate and discuss five alternative models that we think could accelerate household decarbonisation, and could form the basis of a future retail market.

On Tuesday 30 April 9:30-11:00, we're hosting a hybrid event to delve into findings from our new report on the future of energy retail, where we will explore how the electricity retail market could be designed to better support the delivery of net zero.

Why you should come

This event is for anyone interested in the future of the energy system and home decarbonisation - whether you work in government and policy, in the energy industry, in regulation, or in the academic-research space.
