We are working to make the process of installing heat pumps easier for consumers and installers, reducing the time it takes from first quote to a heat pump being up and running. One in ten households say they are willing to get a heat pump when their boiler breaks down. We need to make it as easy as possible for those people to make that purchase and for installers to install heat pumps in these circumstances. Alongside testing and scaling tools and services that remove barriers to heat pump adoption, we also generate and share evidence about the policy changes governments need to make.
