Chris Mitchell

Chris is a Researcher in the What Works Centre for Children's Social Care

Chris will be focusing on improving outcomes for children in social care and the well-being of social workers by evaluating existing datasets, designing randomised controlled trials and conducting data analysis to determine the impact of interventions.

Chris recently completed a MSc in Behavioural Economics from City University, and is passionate about the use of research methods to address complex behavioural challenges. Prior to Nesta, he worked for a health charity Asthma UK in a marketing role. He is a keen enthusiast of the films of Paul Thomas Anderson, the rock band The National, and the game of squash.
