Curious about the policy ideas, research insights and technologies that are shaping the future of the internet? On 28 and 29 September, we held a free online event at the Next Generation Internet (NGI) Policy Summit. The Summit was our most ambitious online event yet, bringing together innovators, researchers and policymakers from across Europe to explore what the future of the Internet could—and should—look like. This was a two-day programme of inspiring talks, thought-provoking debates and collaborative workshops. Interacting with our speakers and fellow audience members through our immersive event platform, this event provided the opportunity to help Europe solve the biggest challenges of the next ten years - from bridging the digital divide and finding new models for the data economy to making our connected lives more sustainable. The NGI Policy Summit is organised by Nesta and the City of Amsterdam, in collaboration with the European Commission. It forms part of the Next Generation Internet (NGI) programme, an initiative to build a more democratic inclusive internet
