Digital commonwealth

The internet is a commons, and brilliantly designed to support all kinds of shared information and knowledge. But it is dominated by very traditional kinds of economic organisation - privately owned companies.

This paper looks at how digital commons could be organised to sit alongside the commercial companies; it describes the kinds of service we're missing out on and suggests how the problem could be solved. It's being shared in draft for comment.
