Communications Manager, Future News Fund
Wallis was a Press Officer in the Communications team
Wallis worked within the Communications team focusing on the health brief, looking at People Powered Health and the future of health tech. Prior to Nesta, she worked at the Department of Health as a Media and Campaigns Officer and at Médecins Sans Frontières as a Press Assistant.
She is originally from Scotland where she studied her undergraduate in International Relations. She moved to Amsterdam soon after to undertake a M.Sc in Political Communication and volunteered as a youth advocate with an international development charity working on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Outside of work, by day, you can find her in a coffee shop in East London, attempting to learn Dutch and by night, boogie-ing to some disco somewhere.
