Nesta is an innovation foundation. For us, innovation means turning bold ideas into reality and changing lives for the better. We use our expertise, skills and funding in areas where there are big challenges facing society.
Programme Manager, People Power Results
Raj joined Nesta in April 2016 as a Programme Manager for the People Powered Results team in our Health Lab.
In the last nine years, Raj has delivered diverse innovation and change projects in public services and the community and voluntary sector. Before joining Nesta, Raj worked as an Associate Consultant for RedQuadrant and largely focused on delivering projects in health and care. But her interest in public service innovation started at Innovation Unit. During her six years with the social enterprise, she worked on projects in health and care, drugs, education, sustainability and supporting innovation in the VCSE.
Raj is (a little bit) geeky about what 21st century community services look like, how collaborative experiments can be conducted to develop innovative services and how these innovations can be scaled when they work.
We extend our impact through two specialised units that help people and organisations to solve complex problems and achieve their goals.
BIT helps clients from government, nonprofits and the private sector to improve people’s lives through our empirical problem solving and deep understanding of human behaviour.
Challenge Works designs and runs challenge prizes to spark innovation in science, technology and society.
Join our mailing list to receive the Nesta Edit, our regular newsletter showcasing how we design, test and scale solutions to some of society's biggest challenges, with updates from Nesta, BIT, Challenge Works and the wider innovation sector.
