Petra is the lead coordinator for the production and delivery of FutureFest, Nesta's flagship festival.
Working alongside the Communications and Explorations teams, Petra is responsible for the content curation, partnerships, sponsorships and for building an enthusiastic local and international community around the festival.
Petra has over five years experience in multi-partner, international project management. Working with academia, businesses, local councils, charities and international partnerships on EU development programmes for a wide range of projects.
Inspired by cross-cutting, creative roles she was the lead on the programme design and partnership building of the first two series of Brain Bar Budapest, CEE's biggest international festival on the future. In this capacity she explored how future technologies will dramatically transform our cities, societies and everyday lives. Before joining Nesta Petra also worked at the Creative Industries Federation, the national organisation for all the UK’s creative industries, cultural education and arts.
As a passionate believer in positive change Petra has been volunteering for various organisations across Europe. She has recently helped a community-led mission in Peckham to offer hands-on learning opportunities through arts and media training for unemployed youngsters. Petra is an advanced yoga practitioner working towards to launch her social yoga project.
