Press Officer
Matthew was a Press Officer at Nesta in the communications team. He was responsible for media for a number of key Nesta projects including Alternative Finance, CITIE and Digital Education.
Prior to joining Nesta, Matthew worked in the press office at CNN's London bureau, providing PR support to the international newsdesk. Before this he was a freelance journalist, writing for publications including London Evening Standard and Time Out.
Matthew is a graduate of the University of Manchester where he studied for a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing.
Outside of work Matthew enjoys reading, cooking and film festivals. He is also trying to get more excited about the idea of running.
