About Nesta

Nesta is a research and innovation foundation. We apply our deep expertise in applied methods to design, test and scale solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our time, working across the innovation lifecycle.

As Senior Communications Lead, Marina uses strategic communications to drive both social impact and business growth.

Working closely with senior leaders to align marketing and communications with BIT’s priorities, her work spans high-level strategy and hands-on delivery, advising on brand positioning and leading communications initiatives across multiple channels to ensure clear, engaging, and impactful messaging.

Previously, Marina was Group Marketing Lead at Nesta, where she oversaw the team dedicated to executing omnichannel strategic marketing campaigns, contributing to ambitious goals across health, sustainability and education. Earlier in her career, she held marketing and communications roles in the cultural and heritage sectors, including at the Royal Collection Trust, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and Historic England –  delivering national campaigns, driving digital engagement, and promoting educational and public programmes.

She holds a Diploma in Professional Marketing from the CIM.
